Next Meeting June 26th @ 7 p.m. (open to everyone)

On Monday, June 26, modern worship task force members will reconvene at 7 p.m. in Pastor Mike Plasters' office to discuss their findings and discuss the next steps. This meeting is open to all those interested in preserving and growing the modern worship program. Anyone interested in the modern worship program is also encouraged to attend the St. Matthew’s UMC Church Council meeting on June 28 at 7 pm to show their support and share concerns for this style of worship as it will be on the agenda. Background: On June 4th members of St. Matthew's UMC, interested in the growth and development of the Modern Worship program, met to discuss the future of this worship service style at St. Matthew's. Participants shared the reason for their support and what they hope to see in the future. Meeting participants were encouraged to visit designated churches and ask the staff questions to learn how St. Matthew's might be able to build a successful modern worship program here.
