Proverbs 12:10 “Those who are righteous treat their animals humanely…”

On October 3rd at 4 p.m., St. Matthews will host our annual Blessing of the Animals service with Pastor Bill.  God has given us a magnificent creation full of beauty.  As part of that creation, Pastor Bill believes that God uses pets to help humans learn about love. From pets, we learn mercy, compassion, patience, and understanding -- and we also learn what it means to receive unconditional love.  Celebrating God’s creation and the pets that God has brought into our lives is one way of giving thanks to God for all of God’s goodness.
